RedazioneThe techno pioneer, the Wizard, Jeff Mills, never stops reinventing himself, this time scheduling a session at the Rembrandt Museum in Amsterdam, during the ADE Festival that will be held from October 14th to October 18th.
This unique project is the first collaboration between the Rembrandt Museum and the Amsterdam Dance Event that, for its twentieth anniversary, will be all about electronic music innovation.
“The techno scene has always been finalized to break boundaries and trespass them” says the Rembrandt Museum director Michael Huijser “Jeff Mills is the absolute master for a new generation of djs and producers, as Rembrandt was for his students“
Jeff Mills is one of the founding fathers of techno music, but he’s always able to expand his vision. He can fill the gap between the classical traditional art world and the contemporary music electronic scene.
During this period of work at the Rembrandt House, Mills will produce new tracks in the reconstructed studio where Rembrandt used to work.
Il pioniere techno, The Wizard, Jeff Mills, non finisce mai di reinventarsi, questa volta programmando una session al Rembrandt Museum di Amsterdam durante l’ADE che si terrà dal 14 al 18 Ottobre.
Questo progetto unico è la prima collaborazione tra il Museo di Rembrandt e l’Amsterdam Dance Event, che per il grande evento del 20° anniversario sarà sempre più all’insegna dell’innovazione nel campo della musica elettronica.
“La scena techno è sempre stata finalizzata a rompere i confini e sorapassarli“, dice il direttore del Rembrandt Museum Michael Huijser. “Jeff Mills è il maestro in assoluto anche per una nuova generazione di DJ e produttori, così come Rembrandt lo era per i suoi studenti.”
Jeff Mills è uno dei padri fondatori della musica techno, ma è sempre stato pronto a espandere la sua visione. Riesce a colmare il divario tra il mondo tradizionale dell’arte classica e il mondo contemporaneo della musica elettronica.
Durante il suo periodo di lavoro presso The Rembrandt House, Mills creerà nuove tracce nel ricostruito studio usato un tempo da Rembrandt.
