godziLLA one is a German musician who produces electronic music.
In 1995, he started his musical journey with the co-foundation of band ‘Lion’s progress’. In 1998, he joined the Reggae Band ‘Irie Miah and the massive Vibes’. There he played as a bass player dozens of gigs and recorded three albums together.
In 2016, he moved to Belgium where he started his own project godziLLA one. Initially still in the dub reggae genre, ‘godziLLA one’ drifted more and more into the electro cosmos. The listener can look forward to an exciting, varied and original sound experience.
Retro Electro, Synthwave, Post-disco, Leftfield house and melodic techno are served. But he never denies his musical roots. So he likes to use tape-delays, offbeat riddims and picking guitars from time to time. He mixes modern sounds with retro elements. The basis is a powerful bass and either a 4-to-the floor, shuffle, big beat or disco rhythm.
