Gregor Strniša – I Heart Kitsch (Gregor Strniša Remix)

Gregor Strniša used in tune “I Heart Kitsch” 50-year-old Italian “rhythm machine” Elka Wilgamat which were used as so called “one man band” musical accompaniment. In addition to the sounds of this old electronic device, he used violin, clarinet and gramophone – scratch. Why the title I Heart Kitsch? Old electronic instruments, “one man band” apparatus, already looked kitschy when they appeared and where were used (mostly on hotel terraces). Today, combined with classical and modern instruments, they work nostalgically and playfully at the same time.
