RedazioneFANTASY UNLIMITED : PART III is the third part of a 4-part project by British producer Julian Tran, each containing two songs.
“This project is about creative and conceptual exploration. It meets at crossroads between songwriting and soundscape : a journey through sound”, says the artist.
“Darkness in the Valley” was originally written for a short-film but I ended up using a different song.
“Ice Cream Kneecaps” was written over a poem from Australian poet Marc Jones. All the instrumentation was recorded as one-take performances and the poem was then removed from the track thus making the song into a negative of the poem.
The album cover was imagined, designed & crafter by multi-disciplinary British artist Thomas Brett. He also designed the covers for the three remaining parts.
