Continuing the slew of releases on Roy Davis Jr.’s Undaground Therapy Muzik imprint, Italian artist Nico Lahs is set to release his Holy Day EP on the label this May. Following on from Men From The Nile and Turquoise Colored French Tourists, Lahs has created a classy four tracker EP to move your body and soul.
“Holy Day represents for me the celebration of life. It’s a journey through the good moments of life that I decided to stop and frame in this EP. I wanted something that was both enjoyable on the floor and for simple listening, even at home, and could elevate the spirit”. Nico Lahs
Bringing emotion to the forefront of each track, the EP seamlessly blends balearic vibes with soulful Chicago house. Crunchy percussion and rhythmic jazz filled grooves open the EP in the form of Bossa Rhythm. Title track Holy Day is a hypnotic, dreamy offering catapulting the listener to a sun-drenched landscape. Moonlight and Sunday Morning continue with the dopamine hit as loose and funky grooves weave throughout.
